John Gierek Sr. founded Humboldt in 1964 and led the company for 30 years. John Gierek Jr. and Steve Sehon later purchased the business, continuing it into the next generation.

North American Van Lines is Humboldt’s interstate moving-network affiliation. That relationship connects local coordination with a broader network for moves across state lines. International shipment arrangements depend on the destination and services required.
